A drunkard comes out helped by public women. Thoughgay and florid, there something of pathos. At present the building is cultural properties and a tall willow-tree and piled rain water barrels by the gate are but the shadows of what they were in the old days.

A cargo-passenger boat which left Fushimi in Kyoto slides down the river,breaking the moon reflected on the water. When it approaches Hirakata, boatsselling wine or burdock soup come close to it. A woman inside the rush matit supposed to be listening to a cuckoo's song.

Three peasant-women with loads on their head, walking along a narrow path through the rolling fields of north of Kyoto. The color-scheme is an unusual one employing mainly grass green, light grey and dark blue.

This superb landscape, the most elegant of the Omi series, shows a long bridge running across Lake Biwa, which is silvered in white moon light. Ishiyama, in the foreground, the location of a famous temple, has often been the subject of sorrowful romances and poems.

This evening glow scene, a bird's-eye view from Ishiyama shows grand of the Lake Biwa. The long bridge, Seta Karahashi is running across the Lake Biwa. Many people are going over the bridge, which is on the Tokaido Highway.
